I founded Alto after more than 20 years of calling Europe home, having grown up in Canada. I’ve moved countries 6 times: for family, for education, and for my career.

That kind of life is rich and full. It’s also - I know from experience - a particular kind of lonely when it comes to finding the right person. Dating across cultures, languages, and borders is complicated. Timelines don’t match, and the people around you are often just as transient as you. And the more established you get, the harder it becomes to meet compatible people.

I started Alto because I wanted to offer something I hadn’t found myself: an ethical, human alternative to the noise of apps and the randomness of chance.

What I bring to this work

Before founding Alto, I spent years working internationally in business leadership and partnerships - building relationships, understanding people, and navigating both human bureaucratic complexity across cultures. That professional background shapes how I approach matchmaking today: analytically, carefully, and with deep curiosity about what makes two people truly compatible.

Having completed my certification with the Global Love Institute, I became Germany’s first certified matchmaker. This is a formal recognition of something I’d already committed to: doing this work properly, ethically, and to the highest possible standard.

How Alto works

Alto is a boutique agency, which means I work with a small number of clients by design. Every introduction is hand-selected. Every client gets my full attention. Alto does not use algorithms, AI matching tools, or automated processes to generate introductions. Every match is the result of human judgement, personal knowledge of each client, and experienced intuition.
